Multi-touch monitor control using Wii remote

Microsoft's 'Surface'

I am working on a design for a multi-touch monitor table for our living room. Which will be very similar to the Microsoft Surface..

I found some great source material for using a Nintendo Wii remote controller (Nick named 'Wiimote') as a laser pen touch controller using either a monitor or whiteboard and projector. I have already ordered my controller from Ebay for a tenner! I'll update the blog as soon I have tried this system out. I am also working on a design for a multi-touch monitor table for our living room. the design will employ the Frustrated Total Internal Reflection (FTIR) – A multi-touch technique that exploits the phenomena of Total Internal Reflection. Which I suspect will be very similar in design to the Microsoft Surface..
